GSI Announce deal to take SpeedwayGB to 500million veiwers a week
Today we announced our first International television magazine licensing deal for its SpeedwayGB ‘Elite’ League with Motorsport Mundial Ltd, for use in its weekly programme of the same name,
It's first in a number of new licensing deals that we have secured for our SpeedwayGB media and merchandising rights.
The license agreement provides 'Motorsport Mundial' producers, Greenlight Television with footage of SGB Elite League meetings, broadcast in the United Kingdom by Sky Sports.
MD and owner of GSI Ltd, Terry Russell, said: “This is a great deal for SpeedwayGB as it gives them a global stage and an new audience of over 500 million homes for the sport of speedway and we’re delighted to be working worth Motorsport Mundial.”
Producer of Motorsport Mundial Ltd's magazine programmes, Aisling Ridout, commented: “Speedway is a great addition to our weekly shows which have been in continuous production since 1995 and we're delighted to be working with GSI”.
MotorSport Mundial is shown on Channel 5 in the UK so check TV listings for scheduled programs.

The 2010 SpeedwayGB Elite League meetings will be broadcast in HDTV
November 11th, 2009 The BSPA officially announced that they completed the signing of a media rights agreement that gives exclusive
International Media Rights for Speedway Great Britain [SGB] to UK based Go Speed Ltd. The deal covers all Digital TV, Internet, Mobile, Games Platforms, Cinema and Merchandising.
The initial licensing period will run from 2010 until 2014 and is world-wide and UK for certain licenses. It includes the Elite League, Premier League, National League and Team GB* Go Speed will also service the BSPA’s UK Media Rights with SKY Sports.
Speaking after the official contractual signing in London on November 11, Terry Russell, owner and CEO of GSI and the outgoing BSPA President having held the role for some nine years said [pictured below]
