Go Speed International Ltd [GSI] is a specialist sports media rights agency that, for over 15 years, has managed media licenses from and on behalf of, the BSPA [British Speedway Promoters Association] and their brand Speedway Great Britain [SGB]. Based near London, England, GSIs’ licensing rights includes Speedway’s ‘Team GB’ on the occasions that it is not involved in ‘World-Cup’ events.
GSI is also responsible for managing the current BSKYB, SKY SPORTS, BSPA Speedway GB media license for the UK and Ireland on the BSPA's behalf.
GSI holds the exclusive International media for all Digital Platforms and all Merchandising Rights for SpeedwayGB which includes the Sky Sports Elite League and the Premier League.
Its core business continues to be Speedway as it manages and engineers the increasing interest in Speedway as a new and exciting sporting brand and now hold the International Media rights for Poland’s Ekstraliga Speedway league, another of the World’s premier speedway leagues.
GSI is open to the opportunity(s) to expand their media licensing stable of sports brands and products from all sports.
GSI’s Managing Director Terry Russell has been involved in the management of British Speedway for over 30 years beginning with his ownership of the Crayford Kestrels in 1981. Terry during those years has been both President and chairman of the Sports UK Governing body the BSPA and was instrumental in the introduction of the Elite League to the Sky Sports screen and the first ever British Grand Prix at the now defunct Hackney Stadium. An achievement more prominent than this was his opening the doors to Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium for Grand Prix speedway and the World’s biggest speedway event the British Grand Prix.
